Rasper

  1. Overview
The rasper is widely used in the starch production to break the material. It is made of stainless steel. The rotor is forged by special stainless steel on which hundreds of files are installed. The reversible files is specially designed with a thickness of 1.25mm.

The rasper is compact with a high rotary speed(100m/s in linear velocity). The material coming out from the rasper is fine, well-distributed and fully extracted.

  2. Structure and Principle(With Picture)
The rasper is comprised of frame, shell, rotor, major axis, feed inlet, reversible files, bearing, bearing seat, block, sieve plate, electric motor, V type belt roller and protection cover. Structure of rasper.

The rotor rotates between two bearings. The distance between the block and the file is adjusted by the screw bolt. The rotary rotors with files in a high speed bring the material to the gap of the blocks and the well-distributed slurry drops into the trough through the sieve plate.

  3. Advantage :
    1. Simple substitute mode of the files.
    2. Lower energy consumption.
    3. The thickness of the file is 1.25mm which ensures a longer lifespan.
    4. All in stainless steel execution, reasonable structure and free maintenance.
    5. New bearing design excludes the sundries.
    6. Easier operation of taking out of the sieve plate and link stopper.
